5 Stars One great remote.
This one of the best remotes out there. It automates your processes. For example, When I hit “Watch DVD” it turns on my xbox 360, AV Receiver, and TV, Puts the TV and Receiver on the correct inputs, and even opens the 360 tray for me. It takes a little while to program but it’s well worth it. It had all of my devices and all of the special functions of it such as, Listening Mode, Dimmer, Test Tone, etc. I did have to customize the buttons such as “y” and “a” to be page up and page down for my dish (DVR 522).
Buy it now, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it. It also helps the “technically challenged” people in your family.

Does everything I ask it to, can’t really ask for much more. I was curious to how the activities (i.e. Watch T.V.) would work, I had worried it would turn off my T.V. if already on, stuff like that. However, the remote remembers what it has done. So as long as you only use the remote your good with whatever your doing and if you screw it up the help feature actually helps a lot. I have a mac and the software works really well. I did have to change some settings around to fit my personal wants and the software was really easy to configure what I wanted it to. Even works with my PS3 with the existing 3rd party IR remote I had purchased, just haven’t figured out how to remotely turn the system on with the remote, but I couldn’t do that with the original remote, so. The only downside is that it was to easy to set up, I got it as an early Xmas present and hoped I could tinker with it all day, but it only took 20 minutes including testing and reconfiguring a couple buttons. This item is just glorious and if you want only 1 remote, this is the one if you have an Xbox360 and even if you don’t being you can use the X,Y,A, and B buttons for anything you want.

I just got the remote and configured it (20min), Best thing ever. I have tried other remotes and NONE have worked and precise as this one. great buy….
5 Stars Takes care of everything
This remote takes care of everything. I programmed the remote in less than an hour using the step by step set up. It worked quickly, but I wanted more, I wanted to assign button tasks, so I dug in, and it let me. Most people probably will never go to the degree I did, for them, click “watch TV” and you know what, it just does it. gather your model numbers before the remote comes and you will be amazed at how quick it sets you up. I was, even reassigning buttons didn’t take long. Sure it doesn’t have the color display of pictures, but it glows and that is all I need. Worth every penny, watching it turn on my DiretV turner, start up my receiver (switching it to the correct setting), and flipping on my TV. Oh yea, if I want to turn on the surround, just click one button and I am there!! It just doesn’t get any better.
