4 Stars What a headache!
I ended up with three of these microphones. The first one I ordered from Amazon did not work. Because I couldn’t wait to play the game, I purchased one from GameStop. That one is exactly the same and has worked fine. I called the manufacturer about the one I ordered from Amazon. The gentleman I spoke with said he would send me a new one within a few weeks. After waiting over 6 weeks and not receiving one, I called back. They had no record of me calling and I had to start all over again. I eventually got a replacement, but have yet to try it. This product does work well once you find a good one!
4 Stars Logitech Vantage USB Mic - Works on ALL Consoles
I recently purchased the Disney Sing-It game(s) on the Wii for my 8 year old Daughter, she needed a 2nd mic to play the game with friends.
I found this mic, packaged in with the PS2 version of Sing-It High School Musical 3 at Frys for only $9 and found that it works on not only the PS2, but the PS3 and the Wii as well!
Gamestop sells this mic used for $10, and new for $20, so if you can find it new here at Amazon for under $20 (including shipping) then it’s a good deal as you can use it for any game on any system!
4 Stars I wish I could sing!
Works fine with Rock Band on my PS3. At least my friends who can sing assures me it does! When I try to use it, I sound awful, and I fail out. But hey, that might have to do with the fact that I have a terrible singing voice and am tone deaf. I’ll just stick to the drums and guitar, thanks!
You’ll need to use your regular controller in concert with this to get the job done, as this doesn’t have any buttons. Be sure to set your PS3 to not turn off the controllers after they’re idle, though. Singing into this doesn’t count as using the associated controller, so your game will yank itself to a stop in the middle of a song if you haven’t used the controller in a while (like if someone else is choosing tracks).

This microphone works great with Guitar Hero. The game came with the guitars, but I cannot play the guitar…..so singing along while the children play the guitars is great. I wish you quality time with your family.
