This game is garbage, don’t support it. This and TNA Impact are the final nail in Midways wooden box. Hopefully a different company will by the mk rights and give this game the respect it deserves, mk that is. Just go play some mugen it’s what people actually want, it’s 2d and way better than any mk since 1.

It’s okay, nothing special. After owning it for about a month, I’m trading it in. Single player is boring and easy without much replay value. Online is okay, but it’s mostly filled with complainers and whiners who quit before the matches are done. After about 300 online fights (250+ wins), I think the game has run its course with me. It was fun for the time I have owned it, but it has basically been reduced to repeated exhibition fights without any feeling of reward.
I’d suggest you rent it before purchasing.
5 Stars Fun game!
The game overall is very good. Graphics are good, and even include little details like the stitching on batman’s suit. Only wish some of the special moves and combos were a little easier to do on some of the characters, but I am not normally a fighter type gamer so I guess I am just a little rusty. Overall very fun!
2 Stars had problems
I purchased this game for a friends son. The first one I received the x-box 360 could not read the disc. I returned it and got another one. The second one I received kept freezing up. I returned that one and got my money back. The good news is my friend said what they could see of the game was fantastic! If only it would work.
4 Stars Why is Midway out of business?
This game is great. Packaging sucked, but the game is fun as hell. Keep it coming, Midway/Warner. I’ll buy MK9 if it’s half as good (not really).
