3 Stars it’s ok
Actually it is more than “ok”, it really is a good game. The problem really is that I got involved with “Burnout: Paradise City” which really raised the bar in terms of how good a racing game should be!
I remember playing this demo (before I tried burnout) and loving this game. I probably would have really gotten into the game… However after seeing Paradise City this game unfortunately just falls right off the bottom of the charts.
Not realistic enough to be considered a “simulation” but not really an arcade racer either. The closed loop races get a little repetitive. I found my mind drifting during the gameplay and ultimately my hands reached for the CD eject button and my Burnout game 
Still, it’s not at all a bad game. Good graphics and solid gameplay overall. Go ahead and pick this up for your collection! You can’t play burnout forever I guess!
4 Stars I am a fan of the burn out series..
so I thought i would try it out. was not disappointed. the controls were a little different than i was used to but with practice, had a blast in no time. the mini games are a hoot. I have to demand the controller back from my kids when we play together. Haha.
5 Stars A Great, Great Game
I love this game. I’m advancing my career and buying more cars, so that I can race in other racing events. Easy to control cars and lots of fun.
3 Stars A little disappointed…
I was a little disappointed with the 360 version of Flatout. I had previously owned it for the original XBOX platform and loved to race against my friends, but the 360 version does not allow for multiple players on the same console for a race.
The game is still very fun for individual entertainment, but much harder than the original XBOX game.
4 Stars Terrrific arcade racer
This has got to be the one of the most underappreciated racers ever. If it wasn’t for the great user ratings, I’d have never heard of it. If you like arcade style racing games - check this one out. The racing and derby segments alone are a blast, but throw in a stunt mode that turns UC into a hilarious party game and this is a must own - don’t hesitate to grab a copy.
