5 Stars Best Cooler
The first time I used this cooler I played Madden for 5 hours straight and the 360 wasn’t even warm. It has worked consistently well and the fact that it is not connected to the power source of the 360 makes sure that if there is a problem with one it won’t transfer to the other. I reccomend this for anyone who has long gaming sessions.
1 Stars Good at first…
I don’t know what happened. I bought this to replace my Intercooler EX, which was drawing power from my console and keeping it from functioning properly. This one has it’s own power supply, there for it shouldn’t mess up your console. That theory seemed pretty sound to me.
And yet, it doesn’t work.
For the first two weeks I had it, it worked perfectly. It kept my 360 nice and cool, alowing me to play it for as long as I wanted. Then, after those first two weeks of perfect performance, it broke down on me. I don’t know what happened: It just started going haywire on me, making a loud buzzing noize, and it started to get really hot. Even though it wasn’t using the consoles power cord, it somehow managed to mess it ip, as my console wouldn’t start up properly until I removed it.
Be careful about buying this product. I’m not sure what went wrong, but my advice would be to simply avoid snap-on coolers altogether. Right now I’m using to big fans on either side of my 360 to keep it cool, which seems to work well enough combined with a well-ventilated, open area.
5 Stars This 360 cooler Works!
This was delivered in the middle of a Battlefield: Bad Company session. I popped it on (since its design and AC power source Adapter=12VDC 500 ma doesn’t interfere with the plug coming from the 360 power supply. The adapter wire plugs into the 3 fan unit right above the units on/off switch. Within seconds the exaust air coming out the back was noticibly cooler and even the top of the case(I’ve got my 360 Elite laying on its side such that the DVD disc drops into the tray once its opened)was cool to the touch. It is a bit noisy but for the cooling that it does I can live with the increase in noise. Finally one that does the job!

5 Stars Does what it has to do
I got this bad boy a couple of days ago and it works well for me. My elite is loud and thought this would quiet it down but i was wrong so i know have the fans running from inside the 360 and the 3 fans this cooler comes with.
The only thing you have to know is that its a manual fan cooler and you need to turn ON the fans and if you don’t, then it just blocks the airflow to the 360 and cause it to overheat. The switch is below the power adapter on the right so you know where to reach to flip the switch.
The good thing is that it does not block anything else that would associate with the 360 like the power cable, wireless adapter and HDMI cable
5 Stars Review of Xbox 360 elite cooler
This is a must have for any xbox 360 owner. I run my xbox 360 for hours and this baby keeps it running cool. I don’t have to worry about My Xbox 360 over heating. Uses it’s own power supply.
