2 Stars Came up WAY short
I loved some of the older TMNT games, but this one is really sad. The graphics are alright, but that’s the only good thing to say about it. There is no multiplayer or co-op of any kind, which is unforgiveable. The really sad thing about this game is the near absence of fighting! Yes, its true. You spend most of your time climbing around and navigating the level, and occasionally–VERY occasionally-you get in a fight. But the fights are seriously lame. I just can’t believe they released this game, there really isnt’ anything to it. 15 levels of basically running around and beating up the occasional batch of punks. Easy achievements if that’s important to you, but otherwise don’t waste your time–or money.

3 Stars ONLY ONE PLAYER!?!?
This was a decent game. I’m very unhappy that they didn’t make it a two player co-op brawl style game. tmnt just screams for that. Instead it is more of a platform game with a little fighting mixed in. some of it is cool, but it gets very repetitive. Some of the later boss fights were also annoying. There are certain things that have to be done to beat the boss, and it can be frustrating to figure it out, especially when you have been fighting him for 10 minutes, have him to half health, and he does a one hit kill on you because you didnt know what to do. Then you have to fight him all over again. Some of the platforming is a bit difficult and the camera doesn’t always give you the best view. They did help this by making checkpoints often so if you mess up and fall down a hole, you don’t have to do a whole lot over again.

All in all it was an okay game. Super easy achievements too.

5 Stars Seven year old boys’ dream game
My son, now eight, has not yet lost interest in playing this game after nearly a year. All his friends enjoy playing it when they’re over. The comments the characters make occasionally while running or climbing or whatever are cute. Since I’m not a gamer myself I can’t say much more, but I can recommend this clean, fun game to all the parents out who might be concerened about violence — it’s very mild. I’ve even seen our teenage boys playing it, although not for long. It’s a perfect young boys’ game.

5 Stars Great TMNT game
This game is so much fun to play. I am not sure why the reviews were so low here. I almost did not buy the game but I am glad that I did because this game is hours of fun.
