5 Stars Great fan and a welcome upgrade over the stock one
I ordered this fan to replace the stock one in my Elite 360 when the DVD-ROM went out and had to be replaced as well. I had the older version of this fan a few years ago in another Xbox and this one is much quiter. I did notice that it was not substantially quiter then the stock one in my Elite but it does appear to move a good amount more air which to me equals a faster fan that still runs as quiet if not quieter then the stock one. Installation is straight forward once you get the case opened, that is the trickiest part but following an online tutorial you can accomplish it in under 5 minutes. You will void your warranty if you open the case so be sure you understand this before ordering this fan. Since I didn’t want to wait on Micro$oft to repair mine or send me some refurb for the DVD-ROM I just replaced the eye myself and swapped out the fan while I had it opened.
Overall I am very satisfied with this fan and am now even thinking of putting a window in the top of the case so you can see the inside of the Xbox being illuminated by the LED’s on the fan.
3 Stars Works as a replacement, but not noticeably quieter.
I bought this fan specifically to quiet my xbox pro, which is really loud. The good: The fan seems to work. The bad: The fan is not really any quieter than the loud fan that was in there. If there is a difference, I would consider it negligible.
5 Stars Preventing the RROD
I purchased this fan for just that reason, preventing the RROD. Now that i’m on to
my fifth xbox 360 I figured i might as well do something Microsoft isn’t. First off
i removed the x-clamps holding down the heatsinks, applied some new thermal paste
and actually bolted the heatsinks down, then i put this fan in. For me, this is a
lot louder now but not enough to make me unhappy with the purchase. I was a little
worried about liking the blue led’s but i think they are very cool and not over
barring. The plastic seems a little brittle but since i don’t plan on moving them ever I’m not really worried. These fans pull some serious air out! The rear of the box is hot because that’s where all the air is coming out, everywhere else on the xbox is literally cold to the touch, it pulls out that much air! Overall very happy with the purchase and would suggest it to anyone who knows their way around this kind of stuff and feels comfortable.

I bought this cause my xbox would over heat an now that i have this its one quieter two more efficient three cooler in both ways its deff worth the buy but i just waited for my warrenty to expire cause your modding your system so yea id wait for warrenty to go out but still its deff worth the price i like turning off my lights just to see the blue lights an it also comes with green led inserts an red ones so if blue aint your thing then go red or green but im sure you can put more colors but yea good buy good price good quality i rate this 5/5 cant go wrong lookin forward to buying this for my elite also 
5 Stars Fan keeps it cool
Keeps my system 4 degrees cooler in Iraq than the original fan. Definitely worth the money.
