I was a little concerned when the package arrived as it was in a generic box. I thought perhaps it would be inferior or have issues but the product worked as promised right out of the box and was brand new. I’m very happy with my purchase as the value was excellent. The product shipped quickly and arrived on time with no issues.

It works. It’s lots of space for installing games to your hard drive, downloading songs for Rock Band or those little micro-games on XBox Live.
But good gravy, where does Microsoft buy their hard drives? At nearly $1 per gigabyte, this is borderline insane!
Additionally: WATCH OUT for shops that will sell this without the data transfer kit. The kit consists of a cable and a DVD to get your data off your existing hard drive and onto your new one. Otherwise you will lose all of your saved games and have to re-download all of your DLC for Rock Band (and I presume other games). Do not assume that it will come with the kit. In fact, if it doesn’t explicitly say it comes with the kit, it probably won’t.
